The latest on Jordan Dawson
All roads lead to Adelaide for the man with the ridiculously good left boot.
Reports came in last night from Fox Sports’ Tom Morris that this deal is all but done — Dawson will head to the Crows in exchange for a future first round pick, which is tied to Melbourne.
The AFL will start processing paperwork for deals as of 12:00pm AEDT, so this one might be first off the pile.

Deadline day is here
Hello again! Welcome the last day of this AFL trade period, and clubs have exactly *checks watch* EIGHT HOURS to get all those pending deals signed, sealed and delivered. The last few hours of the trade period is normally pretty mad, and with a fair few trades still up in the air there’s no reason to believe today will be anything different.
Today we are waiting on:
- Jordan Dawson’s move from Sydney to Adelaide (sounds like this one is a goer)
- Peter Ladhams’ move from Port Adelaide to Sydney
- Jordan Clark’s move from Geelong to Fremantle
- Bobby Hill’s move from GWS to Essendon
- Half the league’s ruckmen changing clubs
- SHOCK SURPRISE MYSTERY TRADE
Should be good. But more important than the boring old news are your thoughts, questions and trade takes. So send them on through using the ol’ comments button at the top. Going to be a long day if you leave me sitting here all alone…
